Had a problem with the timer on my boiler, the engineer came out and tested everything thoroughly and then advised us to purchase a new dial. He gave us a price for all the work, which we accepted. And later the same day he returned with the parts and finished the job. Very polite, clean and tidy.

Paul was recommended to me as I needed to replace an old system boiler (42 years old!) with a new combi. Great service from the first visit through to the completion of the work which also included removing the hot water cylinder, running new pipe work into the house and installing a new radiator.

Combi boiler replacement
P J Plumbing & Heating fitted a new Vaillant combi boiler last year. This meant relocating the boiler to a new position to comply with current regulations in an old building. Paul Hathaway’s assessment of the job was very thorough and competent. The work was planned 6 months ahead and went without a hitch and on time. The quote was very fair and shamed the estimates of other larger contractors. I can highly recommend this company for this type of work.

Very Honest gentleman
I found Paul the most honest plumber I have ever found. He told me what was wrong with the boiler and what was there best route and what could keep going wrong. We bought a new boiler but not because Paul tried to sell us one. The install was fantastic. Very conscientious for our surroundings and a very witty young man. Thank you Paul. Highly recommended.

Paul managed to get our boiler fitted fast as we were isolating and have vulnerable family members, his quote was very competitive and the boiler was fitted in one day, albeit a long day but all went well and he even sorted a couple of existing CH problems we had at the same time, cannot recommend Paul highLy enough, brilliant and friendly service…..top notch

New Boiler Installation
Paul fitted a new boiler with minimum disruption and providing friendly and professional service. Paul’s services are competitively priced and I have no hesitation in recommending PJ Plumbing.

Called Paul this morning as problems with my cooker hob since yesterday. Paul turned up within a couple hours of the call got to the bottom of the issue quickly and has offered sound honest advice and will be coming back to fit the new hob when I’ve got it! Such a friendly down to earth guy and definitely not put to make a quick buck or rip you off! I can highly recommend!
New heating system.
We asked PJ Plumbing for a quote to upgrade our heating system. Paul took us through our options and was very thorough in explaining the removal of the old system, the repositioning of the boiler upstairs in another room and it’s installation including new radiators etc. Although we have never used a combination boiler and we’re a little nervous of the idea. We are very pleased with our new boiler.
There were some unforeseen issues during installation that meant Paul and his assistant worked an additional day, all within the original quote. The work was done in a very professional way and everything looks great.
We have already recommended PJ plumbing to our friends and neighbours and plan to use them for all our future needs.

I contacted Paul as we needed to replace our old boiler. He came out and looked at what we currently had and then made recommendations on what boiler we should go for. He came back to me within a couple of days with a detailed quote listing all items to be used and a complete cost. Once we had accepted the quote Paul arrived on the agreed day. All the work was completed to a very high standard. How the boiler operates was fully explained before Paul left us. I would have no hesitation in recommending Paul to potential clients.
